MP Mohamed Al Ahmad: HM King’s Remarks Set Firm Stance on Loyalty and National Security

Manama: Mohamed Salman Al Ahmad, Member of the Council of Representatives, stated that the remarks of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa came at a decisive moment, delivering a clear national message that Bahrain comes above all and that loyalty to the nation is proven in times of crisis.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Ahmad emphasized that HM the King’s affirmation that Bahrain is a trust borne by all its citizens establishes a unifying national principle. He stressed that national interest and sovereignty take precedence over any external alignment or position that justifies or downplays the Iranian attacks.

He stated that the Iranian aggression on Bahrain’s security, stability, and the safety of its people exposed the loyalty of committed citizens and revealed those who sided with traitors at a critical time.

Al Ahmad highlighted that the appropriate response at this stage is clear alignment behind HM the King, the Bahrain Defence Force, security agencies, and state institutions. He affirmed that Bahrain’s security is a constitutional and national red line.

He mentioned that HM the King’s remarks carry a direct message to members of the legislative authority. He stressed that parliament members represent the nation and its people, not personal or political interests, and that the Council of Representatives must remain a platform to defend Bahrain, not a space for ambiguity or justification of treason.

Al Ahmad added that parliamentary responsibility requires parliament members to uphold national principles and act as a constitutional safeguard for the nation.

He underlined that parliamentary freedom does not justify deviation from loyalty or positions that weaken national unity or defend aggression.

Al Ahmad remarked that HM the King’s affirmation that freedom does not mean chaos or betrayal must guide legislative work. He emphasized that Bahrain’s democratic process is based on responsible participation, not the misuse of its tools to undermine the state or weaken the national position.

Al Ahmad pointed out that legal measures against those who collaborated with the aggression are not acts of retaliation, but necessary steps to protect society and uphold the rule of law. He stressed that citizenship is a binding commitment and responsibility, not a privilege used to harm the nation.

He affirmed that Bahrain, under HM the King’s leadership, will overcome challenges through unity, strong institutions, and national cohesion. He stressed that clear positions are required, noting that those who stand with Bahrain belong to it, while those who align with its enemies place themselves outside it.
