Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,955.63 points, marking a decrease of 1.30 points below the previous closing. This decrease was due to the drop in the Consumer Discretionary Sector and the Material Sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index has closed at 922.59 points, marking an increase of 0.84 points above the previous closing. Results indicated that 135 equity transactions took place with a volume of 1,227,222 worth BD 442,990. Investors traded mainly in the Financial Sector, representing 51.82% of the total value of securities traded.
