Doha: Ibrahim Mohammed Abul, Chief Executive Officer of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA), represented Bahrain in the inaugural meeting of real estate authority heads from Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, held in Doha.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Abul confirmed Bahrain's dedication to enhancing Gulf collaboration and promoting the sharing of expertise among real estate regulatory bodies. This initiative aims to advance joint efforts and support the development of legislation conducive to sustainable economic growth in the region.
Abul highlighted that the meeting provided a platform for discussing the future of the GCC real estate sector. The participants explored ways to improve regulatory efficiency and develop coordination mechanisms among member states.
He further stated that regional cooperation in real estate regulation aids in formulating unified policies and procedures. This collaboration ensures alignment with technological advancements in the sector and encourages the adoption of best regulatory practices across GCC countries. Abul expressed gratitude to Qatar's Real Estate Regulatory Authority for hosting and organizing the meeting.
