Sultan’s Palace Organises Tour for Bahraini Editors-in-Chief at Key Cultural, Historical Sites in Oman

Muscat: The Sultan's Palace in Oman organised a tour for Bahraini editors-in-chief to visit key cultural, heritage, and historical sites in Muscat, on the sidelines of the state visit of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the tour included visits to the Oman National Museum, which showcases Oman's cultural heritage and history through rare exhibits and documents. The editors-in-chief were offered a glimpse into the rich tapestry of Oman's past and present.

The group also visited the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, where they learned about its architecture and its role in religious education and Islamic culture. The mosque is an important landmark and serves as a center for both worship and learning.

The tour concluded at Mutrah Souq, one of the oldest traditional markets in the region. Here, the editors explored local handicrafts and traditional products, gaining insights into the vibrant market life and artisanal crafts of Oman.

The editors-in-chief commended the arrangements made by the Sultan's Palace and expressed appreciation for the hospitality, which highlighted the strong cultural ties between Bahrain and Oman. This visit further enhanced the relations and mutual cooperation between the two countries.
