Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh commended the royal speech of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in the inaugural session of Paris Peace Forum. He said the royal vision concerning global crises and the need for international cooperation to overcome them reveals the kingdom’s approach in dealing with various challenges, including mainly COVID-19 pandemic and the climate issue.
The Shura Council Chairman said HM the King’s assertion of the importance to achieve the sustainable development goals 2030, being a global aim, requires from everyone to exert the needed efforts to achieve those goals. He pointed out keenness of the legislative branch to support that, being a pivotal aim that is in tune with Bahrain Vision 2030. He also commended the efforts of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in this regard to ensure a better future for citizens.
The Shura Council Chairman expressed support of the Shura Council to HM the King’s directives and affirmation of the kingdom’s keenness on backing the international efforts to foster global peace and security, achieve justice and equality and promote human rights, being essential pillars of Bahrain’s internal and external policy.
