Dubai: The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) secured two awards at the 17th Ideas Arabia International Award, organized by the Dubai Quality Group. The ceremony took place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and was attended by representatives from public and private institutions from countries such as Switzerland, the UAE, Bahrain, and Oman, focusing on innovation and quality in various sectors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the event was held under the patronage of HH Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, who holds multiple key positions including Chairman of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Honorary President of the Dubai Quality Group. RHF was honored with the Best Shared Idea Award for its Al Fares Insulin Pumps initiative and the Charitable Initiative Award for the Netaj Khair Al Bahrain project.
Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Secretary General of RHF, accepted the awards on behalf of the foundation. He stated that the awards highlight RHF's dedication to high-quality service delivery and its leadership in humanitarian and development work, aligning with Bahrain's Economic Vision 2030.
The Al Fares Insulin Pumps project aims to provide insulin pumps to children with Type 1 diabetes up to the age of 18, aiming to reduce complications and promote a healthier life. By the end of 2024, the initiative had benefited 278 children.
Netaj Khair Al Bahrain acts as a center that fosters creativity and skill development among mothers and children under RHF's care, supporting economic empowerment and self-sufficiency.
