Manama: The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) has launched its summer programme for RHF beneficiaries, featuring 83 activities and events across educational and recreational domains. The initiative aims to develop families' skills in various areas and make productive use of the summer break.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Secretary-General of the RHF, stated that the Foundation is committed to organising the summer programme annually as part of its comprehensive care for its families. He highlighted the importance of empowering individuals and providing a supportive environment that develops their potential and supports them psychologically and socially through high-quality activities and strong community partnerships. He also noted the Foundation's ongoing efforts to continuously develop its programmes to serve its beneficiaries.
Mai Ahmed Al-Saie, Director of the Charitable Resources Development Department, emphasised that this year's programme meets the needs of different age groups. She explained that the programmes have been diversified to include entertainment, education, and empowerment, aligning with the Foundation's vision to build a conscious, qualified, and integrated generation in society. She added that every participation in this programme is viewed as an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and mothers.
The Summer Programme is designed to achieve several core objectives. It focuses on empowering young people by offering vocational and life skills training courses to prepare them for the labour market. The programme also aims to discover and develop skills through specialised workshops tailored to various interests. To promote overall well-being, a range of recreational and psychological activities are organised, bringing enjoyment and positive engagement to participants. In addition, the programme seeks to strengthen community support by enhancing effective partnerships with both government and private sector institutions.
The summer programme includes a set of educational activities and training programmes, including: "Intilaaqah", "Empower yourself professionally", "Youth Academy", language teaching, public speaking and diction skills, artificial intelligence, electrical maintenance, in addition to workshops in drawing, photography, music, karate, martial arts, and financial culture. It also includes community and recreational activities such as: "Virtual Games", "Shams", "Water Skiing", "Cinema", and participation in the Bahrain Summer Festival.
