Manama: Bahrain All Share Index closed at 1,944.35 points, showing a decrease of 1.11 points below the previous close. This decline was influenced by a downturn in the materials and real estate sectors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index, however, recorded an uptick, closing at 854.35 points, which is an increase of 3.64 points from its previous position. The trading session saw 85 equity transactions with a volume of 2,994,826, totaling a value of BD 689,915. Investors predominantly engaged in the financial sector, which accounted for 59.75% of the total value of securities traded.
