Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,952.48 points, marking a decrease of 1.63 points below the previous closing. This decline was primarily attributed to setbacks in the communications services sector, the consumer discretionary sector, and the materials sector. The Bahrain Islamic Index also saw a drop, closing at 927.56 points, which is 2.10 points lower than its previous closing. According to Bahrain News Agency, a total of 117 equity transactions were recorded, with a trading volume of 1,450,422 shares valued at BD 550,879. Investors focused predominantly on the financials sector, which accounted for 55.89% of the total value of securities traded.
