HH Isa bin Ali Hosts Kuwaiti Minister to Discuss Sports Cooperation

Manama: His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Vice President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, welcomed Dr. Tariq Hamad Al Jalahma, Kuwait's Minister of State for Youth and Sports Affairs, to discuss collaborative efforts in sports and youth development. According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting was attended by Waleed Al Alawi, a board member of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, and Nader Al Awadhi, Vice President of the Bahrain Basketball Association. During the meeting, HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali conveyed the greetings of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who holds several key positions in Bahrain's sports sector. The discussions emphasized the strong, longstanding relationship between Bahrain and Kuwait, especially in the realm of youth and sports. HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali highlighted the necessity of enhancing sports cooperation, sharing expertise, and developing initiatives to empower young people in both countries. He also acknowledged Kuwait's significant achievements and influence in s ports at both the Gulf and Arab levels.
