Manama: The Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club (REHC) has signed a gold sponsorship agreement with Brown Advisory to support the Bahrain International Trophy. This collaboration aligns with the directives of His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa aimed at fostering local and international partnerships that enhance the development of horseracing in Bahrain and boost the organization of international races and championships.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the signing ceremony was attended by notable figures including Yusuf Buheji, CEO of REHC, and Craig Fravel, Partner and Senior Advisor at Brown Advisory. The agreement was signed by Fatema Albalooshi, Head of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships at REHC, and Jack Weatherby, Regional Head at Brown Advisory. The sponsorship agreement designates Brown Advisory as a gold sponsor for the Bahrain International Trophy for three seasons, starting with the 2025/2026 season.
Yusuf Buheji emphasized the significance of this new partnership, highlighting the robust support the horseracing sector receives in Bahrain. He acknowledged the ongoing development witnessed by the sport through major events and international races, which have contributed to creating an appealing investment environment and encouraged both local and international entities to forge partnerships supporting this vital sector.
Buheji expressed his appreciation for the collaboration with Brown Advisory, noting that the agreement paves the way for new cooperative opportunities and strengthens the Bahraini horseracing sector through the gold sponsorship of the Bahrain International Trophy.
Craig Fravel conveyed Brown Advisory's pride in partnering with REHC and their role as a gold sponsor for the Bahrain International Trophy over the next three seasons.
