Manama: His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), expressed appreciation to the silver sponsors of the Gadeha Junior training camp for young people, Kooheji Foundation and Spartan Fitness. His Highness affirmed that community partnership is key to the success of national initiatives aimed at developing the abilities of young people.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad commended the role of Kooheji Foundation and expressed appreciation to the Chairman and members of its Board of Trustees for supporting the national initiative. His Highness affirmed that the foundation's contributions reflect its strong commitment to social responsibility and its support for programmes that invest in youth and develop their potential, helping prepare a generation capable of serving the nation and contributing to its development.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad also expressed appreciation for Spartan Fitness, commending its role in supporting youth and sports initiatives. His Highness affirmed that the partnership reflects an awareness of the importance of cooperation between the sports and community sectors in the success of programmes aimed at identifying promising talent and promoting a culture of sport, commitment, and discipline among young people.
For his part, Abdulghaffar Abdulraheem Al Kooheji, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Kooheji Foundation, expressed pride in supporting the Gadeha Junior training camp. He affirmed that the foundation believes in the importance of investing in young people as a key national asset. He said the support for the initiative stems from the foundation's mission to serve the community and contribute to programmes that help build character and develop abilities. He wished the camp success in achieving its objectives and making a positive impact on participants.
David Erdelyi, Spartan Fitness Executive Director, said its sponsorship of the camp stems from its belief in supporting national initiatives that promote sports culture and reinforce fitness and discipline among young people. He said Spartan Fitness was proud to contribute to the initiative, which is supported and overseen by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, and followed up by HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad. He expressed hope that cooperation would continue on initiatives that help prepare more aware and capable generations able to achieve success.
