Manama: The Community Police Directorate of the Public Security Presidency for Community Affairs has been honored with the Prince Nayef Award for Arab Security in the Security Studies category. The accolade was awarded for a security study conducted by the Security Studies Division, entitled Artificial Intelligence and Crime in the Arab World.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Brigadier Ammar Mustafa Al Sayed, Assistant Chief of Public Security for Community Affairs, underscored that this achievement was facilitated by the support and directives of Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa. He reiterated the ministry's dedication to enhancing police work and improving performance through the use of modern technologies and artificial intelligence, which lead to increased efficiency and productivity in the security sector.
This award marks an exceptional achievement, as the Security Studies Division of the Public Security Presidency for Community Affairs also received the same award last year for their study, The Preventive Role of Family in Strengthening Community Security.
With this recognition, the Public Security Presidency for Community Affairs has become the sole security entity in the Arab world to win the Prince Nayef Award consecutively. This accomplishment highlights the professionalism and expertise of the Security Studies Division in evaluating and analyzing security threats.
