Manama: A spokesperson from the Meteorological Directorate at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications has reported that Bahrain has experienced typically hot summer conditions over the past two days, consistent with seasonal norms. This weather pattern has been attributed to a surface low-pressure system centred over the eastern Gulf region, bringing dry daytime winds and more humid conditions in the evenings.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the latest weather forecasts predict the development of north-westerly winds across the Kingdom on Tuesday, influenced by a regional high-pressure system. These winds are expected to range from moderate to fresh, intensifying to strong or gale force at times on Wednesday and Thursday. The conditions are anticipated to cause blowing dust and rising sea levels, along with a noticeable decrease in humidity. This weather pattern is expected to continue through Saturday.
The Meteorological Directorate has advised the public to exercise caution and avoid maritime activities during this period due to the unsettled conditions.
In July, Bahrain typically experiences an average high temperature of around 39°C, with average overnight lows of approximately 31°C.
