Gaza strip: The Jordan Armed Forces - Arab Army conducted three airdrops to deliver food and humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. One of these operations was in collaboration with the United Arab Emirates, as part of efforts to assist the Palestinian people.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the airdrops were executed using C-130 aircraft from the Royal Jordanian Air Force and the UAE Air Force, distributing approximately 25 tonnes of essential supplies. These missions were coordinated with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organisation.
These efforts are part of a broader initiative to provide relief to areas in the Gaza Strip that are challenging to access by land. However, land convoys remain a priority as they can transport larger volumes of aid.
Since the onset of the conflict in Gaza, the Jordan Armed Forces have completed 127 airdrops independently and 267 in cooperation with other nations. Additionally, 7,932 trucks have delivered supplies through 181 land convoys to the region.
Jordanian field hospitals in various locations, including northern and southern Gaza, Nablus, Jenin, and Ramallah, continue to offer medical services. They have treated over 480,000 patients, conducted more than 36,000 surgeries, and provided 532 prosthetic limbs.
Furthermore, under the "Medical Corridor" initiative led by His Majesty King Abdullah II, 112 children in need of medical care, along with 241 caregivers, have been evacuated to Jordan for treatment, with a goal of assisting 2,000 children from Gaza.
