Egypt’s Foreign Reserves Increase to $47.39 Billion in February

Cairo: The net international reserves at the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) rose to $47.393 billion by the end of February, compared to $47.265 billion by the end of January of the same year, marking an increase of $128 million.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the value of gold holdings within the foreign currency reserves reached approximately $11.851 billion in February, compared to around $11.416 billion by the end of January, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported.

The data indicated that the volume of foreign currencies within the reserves stood at $35.524 billion by the end of February, while Special Drawing Rights (SDRs) amounted to $21 million by the end of February.
