According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting centered on launching joint initiatives to bolster youth capabilities. Minister Tawfeeqi reiterated the ministry's dedication to supporting young people through strategic partnerships with universities, aiming to help them realize their goals and contribute to societal progress.
Minister Tawfeeqi underscored the significance of strengthening cooperation between the ministry and educational institutions in Bahrain. She pointed out that universities play a crucial role in nurturing creativity and innovation, which are vital in honing the skills of young individuals.
Professor Al Zayani provided an overview of the Gulf University's Sustainability and Development Makers Centre. She elaborated on the university's "Sustainability Club," which seeks to foster environmental and social consciousness, responsibility, and volunteerism among students.
