New York: Major U.S. stock indexes opened higher on Thursday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 198.6 points, or 0.48%, to 41,312.57.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Standard and Poor's 500 Index opened up 32.3 points, or 0.57%, at 5,663.6. Meanwhile, the Nasdaq Composite gained 182.0 points, or 1.03%, reaching 17,920.154.
