Manama: Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Capital Governor, chaired a coordination meeting to discuss security and service preparations for the upcoming Ashoora commemoration, as part of the Capital Governorate's Security Committee.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting was attended by Hassan Abdullah Al Madani, Deputy Governor; Brigadier Isa Hassan Al Qattan, Director General of the Capital Governorate Police Directorate; as well as representatives from the Jaafari Endowments Directorate, the Capital Secretariat, and various security departments at the Ministry of Interior.
The meeting reviewed arrangements related to security and services for central Hussaini processions in the capital. The Governor emphasised the importance of early coordination and close cooperation among the concerned entities to ensure the success of the Ashoora commemoration, maintain public order, and reflect the spirit of unity and social cohesion that distinguishes Bahraini society.
The committee also addressed other security matters concerning the governorate, in line with efforts to promote public safety and strengthen community stability. The Governor commended the dedication of all security departments and lauded their ongoing collaboration in protecting citizens and residents.
