Manama: Under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the University of Bahrain (UoB) concluded the first edition of the Molhem (Inspiring) Forum. The event was organized by the Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa Initiatives Office at the university.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the closing ceremony was attended by Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University of Bahrain. The Minister expressed gratitude to HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad for his patronage and commended the Initiatives Office for its role in empowering Bahraini youth and fostering their creative potential.
He emphasized that the Molhem Forum serves as a crucial platform linking academic curricula with the evolving demands of the labour market, particularly in digital media and content creation. He noted that the presence of distinguished experts and content creators at the University of Bahrain underscores a commitment to equipping students with practical skills and modern technologies, which contribute to graduating a media-savvy generation attuned to rapid developments in this sector.
Dr. Esra Ahmed Wali, Vice President for Partnerships and Development at the University of Bahrain and Chairperson of the Supreme Committee of the Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa Initiatives Office, praised the forum for bringing together leading media professionals, new media pioneers, and students. She highlighted the forum's role as a valuable platform for discussing emerging media issues and learning from influential content creators.
Dr. Halima Al Aali, Director of Student Activities at the Ministry of Education, emphasized the Ministry's efforts to integrate media education into curricula and programs. She highlighted the collaboration with the Initiatives Office to prepare students capable of producing high-quality media content.
The ceremony concluded with the Education Minister honoring members of the scientific committee, sponsors, and contributors for their support and contributions to the forum.
