Traffic Directorate Launches Trial Phase of Smart Camera Installation Project in Bahrain

Manama: The General Directorate of Traffic has initiated the trial phase of a project aimed at installing 500 smart cameras to bolster traffic safety throughout the Kingdom of Bahrain.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the trial phase involves setting up a select number of cameras at specific locations to evaluate their performance, technical efficiency, and integration with existing electronic systems. This assessment is crucial for the planned expansion of the project to other areas within the Kingdom.

This initiative is part of the Directorate's ongoing commitment to enhancing road safety and strengthening traffic monitoring. By employing advanced smart technologies, the Directorate aims to improve service quality and enhance field performance.
