Manama:Qutaiba Kadish, Director of the International Cooperation Department at the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, recently met with a delegation from the US Department of State, led by Andrew Kent, to discuss ways to improve bilateral relations and joint coordination.
According to Bahrain News Agency, representatives from relevant Syrian ministries and entities were present at the meeting. Both sides stressed the importance of the United States' involvement in supporting Syria's recovery and stability, aiming to move from dialogue towards establishing a sustainable institutional and practical partnership.
Additionally, the meeting addressed mechanisms for implementing the "Syria Without Camps" initiative. This initiative is a national priority focused on ending humanitarian suffering and supporting reconstruction and development efforts in Syria.
