Jerusalem:The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) has initiated the Bahrain Endowment for Education and Orphans project in Jerusalem, marking the beginning of a new educational and humanitarian effort in the city. This project is a collaboration between the RHF and the Jerusalem Empowerment and Development Fund (JEF), aimed at supporting the Palestinian community.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the foundation stone for this project was laid by Ibrahim Dalhan Al Doseri, Acting Secretary-General of the RHF, during a visit by the RHF delegation to Jerusalem. The project is part of Bahrain's ongoing commitment to aid the Palestinian people by enhancing educational opportunities and supporting orphan care.
The project focuses on supporting Dar Al-Tifl Al-Arabi Girls' School located in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood. The initiative is designed to ensure the sustainability of the school's services, contribute to its operating budget, and expand its educational capabilities. This effort reflects Bahrain's commitment to creating long-term positive impacts on education and community development.
Al Doseri highlighted that this project is the first of its kind in Jerusalem, representing an extension of Bahrain's initiatives to aid the Palestinian people. He emphasized the significance of endowment projects in offering sustainable resources that maintain and enhance educational and social services, thus promoting broader development opportunities.
The Acting Secretary-General also noted that the project aligns with the Foundation's broader strategy of developing humanitarian initiatives that go beyond immediate needs. It focuses on sustainable development efforts that aim to create lasting impacts on individuals and communities.
