Manama:The Coast Guard, in cooperation with Bapco Energies and the Ports and Maritime Affairs at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications, organized an awareness campaign targeting fishermen regarding the new marine survey project area and the procedures to be followed by sea users.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the campaign outlined the location of the new work area based on published maps and emphasized the importance of adhering to the relevant instructions and guidelines. Sea users were advised to avoid entering the survey area or approaching project equipment and vessels.
The campaign also highlighted that fishing, swimming, and diving are prohibited in the work area and warned against tampering with equipment or obstructing survey operations. The Coast Guard urged sea users to follow updates and announcements from the relevant authorities and comply with guidelines to ensure their safety and the project's smooth progress.
This initiative is part of ongoing cooperation and coordination among relevant authorities to enhance awareness and address fishermen's inquiries about the work area and necessary procedures.
