Spot Gold Drops 0.7% After Initial Rise

Manama: Gold prices fell on Tuesday as spot gold decreased by 0.7% to $4,045.89 per ounce by 0448 GMT, following a rise of up to 1% on Monday. Additionally, U.S. gold futures for August delivery experienced a loss of 0.8%, dropping to $4,046.20.

According to Bahrain News Agency, other precious metals also saw a decline. Spot silver fell by 2% to $57.23 per ounce. Platinum saw a decrease of 0.9% to $1,605.93, while palladium slid by 1.6% to $1,270.97.
