Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,967.03 points, marking an increase of 1.56 points above the previous closing. This increase was due to the rise in the communication services sector, the financial sector, and the industrial sector. Bahrain Islamic Index has also shown an uptick, closing at 916.27 points, marking an increase of 0.65 points above the previous closing. According to Bahrain News Agency, the results indicated that 80 equity transactions took place with a volume of 1,151,013 worth BD 415,986. Investors traded mainly in the financial sector, which accounted for 47.11% of the total value of securities traded.
