Manama: Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, emphasised that Bahrain's achievement of a leading position among Arab countries in the 2024 Gallup Law and Order Index reflects the Vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The vision focuses on strengthening security and stability, ensuring a safe life for citizens and residents, and making Bahrain an attractive society for investment, built on deep-rooted principles of coexistence, tolerance, and openness.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Musallam highlighted the Council of Representatives' keenness, in cooperation with the government led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to support and enhance the efficiency of security institutions. This is achieved through legislative development, crime prevention, and the consolidation of justice, transparency, and accountability within the framework of the rule of law and institutions.
The Speaker commended the efforts of General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, and all ministry personnel for their dedication in law enforcement, adopting a modern and humanitarian vision, and strengthening community partnership. He noted that these efforts have contributed to achieving this distinguished accomplishment, which reflects the confidence of citizens and residents in the security services and their sense of safety in daily life.
Al Musallam reiterated the Council's commitment to supporting Bahrain's comprehensive development process through modern legislation aligned with the aspirations of the Kingdom and its people. This is in line with Bahrain Economic Vision 2030, positively contributing to social progress, economic growth, and strengthening Bahrain's position as a safe and attractive environment for investment and prosperity.
