Manama: Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, congratulated Valentina Matviyenko, Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation, and Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, on the occasion of Russia's National Day.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Musallam emphasized the depth of Bahraini-Russian relations and their steady development under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Excellency Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation. He also underscored the importance of enhancing parliamentary cooperation through diplomatic efforts and joint initiatives.
The Speaker sent a similar cable of congratulations to Alexey Skosyrev, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
