Manama: In line with the official launch of the 13th edition of the eGovernment Excellence Award 2025, the Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA) organised two virtual introductory workshops in Arabic and English, targeting participants from public and private sector organisations, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), and individuals.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the workshops aimed to familiarise potential participants with the award's categories, evaluation criteria, and participation guidelines, while addressing inquiries related to the award and the submission process, which remains open until June 28, 2025.
The iGA stated that the workshops align with its efforts to reinforce public awareness of the award, highlighting its significance in nurturing innovation, supporting digital transformation, and enhancing the quality of services delivered to citizens and residents in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The award also reflects government directives to achieve excellence, boost competitiveness, improve quality of life, and promote Bahrain's ICT sector both regionally and globally.
The iGA emphasised that the workshops are part of its broader awareness campaign aimed at encouraging participation and the submission of innovative digital initiatives and projects through an interactive platform for dialogue, questions, and knowledge exchange.
