Manama: Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, expressed support for the Ministry of Interior's (MOI) measures following the arrest of 41 members of a group linked to Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and the ideology of Wilayat al-Faqih.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Musallam emphasised parliamentary support for efforts aimed at protecting the security and stability of the Kingdom of Bahrain and addressing unlawful activities linked to foreign agendas. He highlighted that the legal measures are focused on individuals involved in acts that violate the law, ensuring they do not target any particular segment of Bahraini society.
Al Musallam also called for continued public awareness and cooperation with security authorities, stressing that protecting Bahrain's security is a shared responsibility.
