Southern Governor Opens Fourth Edition of Investment Forum in Southern Governorate

Manama: His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Southern Governor, has inaugurated the fourth edition of the Southern Governorate Investment Forum. The event builds on the success of its previous editions and plays a vital role in encouraging participation from all segments of the local investment sector.

According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali highlighted the significant achievements in investment development within the Southern Governorate. These developments are facilitated by encouraging the private sector and entrepreneurs, aligning with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The efforts are directed towards achieving further aspirations for the Governorate's advancement.

The Southern Governor expressed the Governorate's commitment to organizing this event with participation from leading investment companies and entrepreneurs. The exhibition aims to display innovative projects as a civilizational hub, aligning with the Governorate's mission to translate sustainable development goals into concrete investment opportunities. This strategy bolsters innovation and leadership, positioning the Southern Governorate as a key business and development center, and a promising environment for future initiatives.

Abdullah Yousef Al Ghatam, Head of Investment Development at the Governorate, praised HH the Southern Governor's backing for investment and partnerships with the private sector, as well as empowering young entrepreneurs and local business owners. He mentioned that such support broadens opportunities for participants, cultivates their creativity, and enhances their skills and qualifications. He also pointed out that the exhibition supports the Governorate's ambition to be recognized as a "Healthy Governorate."

HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali honored the participating entities, including Massar Group, Al Areen Holding, Durrat Al Bahrain, Inovest, alongside several local projects and entrepreneurs.
