Manama: In line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Osama bin Saleh Al Alawi, Minister of Social Development, participated in Tree Week activities by planting trees at the Ibn Khaldun Social Centre.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the initiative supports Bahrain's national afforestation plan, which aims to plant 3.6 million trees by 2035 as part of the Kingdom's vision to achieve carbon neutrality by 2060.
