Manama: Osama bin Saleh Al Alawi, Minister of Social Development, received the Micro Art Training Centre team after they won first place in the fine arts category at the Awladna International Forum for Arts of the Gifted, held in the Arab Republic of Egypt with the participation of 53 countries.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Minister Al Alawi congratulated the team on their outstanding achievement, describing it as another milestone in the Kingdom of Bahrain's record of success stories. He said the award highlights the remarkable artistic talent of people with determination in Bahrain and reflects the Kingdom's commitment to inclusion and creative empowerment.
He commended the Micro Art Centre for its efforts to discover and nurture the skills of artists with disabilities and for providing an encouraging space that helps them express their creativity and represent Bahrain proudly on international platforms.
The team members expressed their gratitude for the Ministry's support and for the role of specialised centres in empowering people with determination and helping them develop their talents. They said their success is a result of the supportive environment that fosters creativity and healthy competition at home and abroad.
