Gulf Hotels Group, ADNH, Metro Global to Launch MFive Services in Bahrain

Manama: Gulf Hotels Group (GHG), a hospitality company in the Kingdom of Bahrain, has formed a joint venture with MFive Services, a UAE-based specialist in housekeeping and cleaning solutions. MFive Services is jointly owned by Abu Dhabi National Hotels (ADNH) and Metro Global. This partnership aims to establish MFive Services in Bahrain, setting international standards in outsourced housekeeping operations.

According to Bahrain News Agency, this strategic partnership is a significant development in professional housekeeping services in Bahrain. It establishes a new benchmark for quality, innovation, and cost-effective services tailored for hotels, resorts, and serviced residences. The agreement was signed by Gulf Hotels Group, Metro Global Pte Ltd, and ADNH during an official ceremony in Dubai, marking a milestone in outsourced hospitality services in the Kingdom.

Founded in 2010 in the UAE, MFive Services has been a leading provider of outsourced housekeeping and cleaning solutions, serving over 60 hotels across the UAE. Their success is attributed to specialised staff training, operational efficiency, and scalable systems ensuring consistent quality and cost optimisation.

This new venture aims to enhance the housekeeping outsourcing model in Bahrain, offering fully managed solutions that include staffing, supervision, quality assurance, and operational support. The model provides a complete housekeeping department on an outsourced basis, aligning with each hotel's standard operating procedures and service levels.

Quality assurance is upheld through structured checklists, regular joint reviews, and defined KPIs, ensuring brand standards and guest satisfaction. The model operates on a pay-per-room basis, converting a large, fixed payroll into a pay-for-productivity cost structure linked to occupancy. This results in operational flexibility, improved forecasting accuracy, and optimised labour utilisation.

Ahmed Janahi, CEO of Gulf Hotels Group, stated that the partnership with MFive Services introduces a performance-driven housekeeping model to Bahrain's hospitality sector. The venture offers an innovative solution that enhances service consistency, controls cost volatility, and upholds brand standards.

Sheikh Ahmed Aldhahiri, Chairman of MFive Services and Vice Chairman and Managing Director of ADNH, highlighted the agreement as a strategic milestone reflecting the growing demand in Bahrain's hospitality sector. The company aims to strengthen its partnership with Gulf Hotels Group to become the preferred provider for hotel owners and operators.

Khalid Anib, Director of MFive Services and CEO of ADNH, mentioned that the partnership with Gulf Hotels Group is crucial for MFive Services' regional expansion strategy. ADNH acquired a 50% stake in MFive Services in 2023 to support the business model's rollout across the UAE and the region.

Max Baer, CEO of Metro Global, emphasized the importance of entering the Bahraini market through the partnership with Gulf Hotels Group. He noted that GHG's strong hospitality network and operational expertise provide a foundation for delivering high-quality housekeeping solutions.

The collaboration reflects GHG's ongoing diversification strategy, expanding beyond hotel operations into support services. This venture aligns with the Group's vision to deliver integrated solutions that improve profitability, maintain quality standards, and strengthen Bahrain's position as a regional hospitality hub.
