Manama: Bahrain Network (BNET), the national entity tasked with delivering fiber-based broadband networks in Bahrain, has entered into a long-term framework agreement with Nokia. This strategic move is designed to elevate cooperation between the two organizations in critical areas such as technical support, training, and the exchange of specialized knowledge.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the collaboration is set to enhance the efficiency of BNET's workforce and boost its capacity to support the continuous development of Bahrain's digital infrastructure. The agreement also covers various operational, technical, and organizational aspects, demonstrating both parties' dedication to constructing a sustainable system founded on technological innovation.
Ahmed Jaber Aldoseri, Chief Executive Officer of BNET, emphasized that the agreement fortifies their collaboration with global technology leaders, thereby improving operations and supporting Bahrain's digital infrastructure. Roque Lozano Barbero, Senior Vice President of Network Infrastructure for MEA at Nokia, stated that the new framework agreement deepens the company's partnership with BNET, facilitating joint innovation and operational improvements.
