Manama: Weightlifting and table tennis events began at the 3rd Asian Youth Games, held at Exhibition World Bahrain. Winners were awarded in the women's 44kg and men's 56kg and 60kg categories after strong performances.
According to Bahrain News Agency, esports competitions continued into their advanced stages, alongside ongoing volleyball, futsal, and cycling events. The 3x3 basketball preliminary rounds also neared completion amid close contests and growing spectator turnout.
