Manama: The organising committee for the Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Quran Award is actively reviewing registration applications for its sixth edition. The committee continues to receive applications and inquiries from all categories through the award's dedicated website.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the award is organised by Al Noor Charity Welfare Society, with support from Her Highness Shaikha Lulwa bint Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Honorary President of the Society. The competition includes a category for memorising the entire Quran and additional categories for memorising selected parts. This includes a category specifically for primary school students, open to both citizens and residents, as per the award's regulations.
The committee began accepting applications last October and will continue until December 20. In the previous year's fifth edition, the award attracted over one thousand male and female contestants.
