Manama: The Youth Committee of the Shura Council, chaired by Redha Ibrahim Monfaradi, met with a delegation from the Committee of Young Legislators in the Russian Federation Council, headed by Senator Alexander Varfolomeyev, as part of their visit to the Kingdom.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting focused on enhancing parliamentary cooperation, particularly in youth-related legislation, capacity-building, and integration of young people in legislative processes. Monfaradi affirmed Bahrain's commitment to youth empowerment in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Both sides reviewed training initiatives, legislative mechanisms, and opportunities for exchanging expertise. The Russian delegation expressed interest in Bahrain's parliamentary practices and emphasised the importance of building stronger institutional ties in youth and legislative affairs.
