Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has ratified and issued Law (13) of 2025, which approves the Protocol Amending the Marrakesh Agreement establishing the World Trade Organization by incorporating the Agreement on Fisheries Subsidies into Annex 1A of the Agreement. This action follows the approval of both the Shura Council and the Council of Representatives.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the newly ratified law approves the agreement that was signed in Geneva on June 17, 2022, which is attached to the Law.
The implementation of the provisions of the law will be carried out by the Prime Minister and the Ministers, each within their own capacity. The law will become effective the day after its publication in the Official Gazette.
