Manama: Shura Council members Ali Abdullah Al Aradi and Sabika Khalifa Al Fadala participated in the second meeting of the Advisory Authority of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) as part of its 29th session. The meeting, chaired by Dr Shaikha Mariam bint Hassan Al Khalifa, was held virtually.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting focused on proposals and studies aimed at enhancing joint Gulf cooperation. Discussions centered on strengthening the GCC’s integration agenda and supporting initiatives that benefit member states and their citizens. The meeting reflected the directives of GCC leaders, aiming to bolster collective achievements while promoting security, stability, and sustainable development across the region.
Al Aradi and Al Fadala underscored the importance of consolidating joint Gulf action, especially in light of current regional developments and ongoing security challenges. They stressed that closer coordination, unified positions, and complementary efforts among GCC states are crucial to effectively addressing these challenges and ensuring regional stability.
