Kuwait city: The Ministry of Interior announced the adjustment of the wireless emergency alerts system on smartphones, effective today. Under the revised mechanism, alerts issued in the event of potential danger between midnight and 6:00 a.m. will be transmitted using a notification-only tone.
According to Bahrain News Agency, this change aims to minimize disturbances during late-night hours while ensuring that crucial alerts are still received by the public. The adjustment reflects ongoing efforts to enhance emergency communication strategies and adapt to public feedback.
