Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a phone call from His Excellency Joseph Aoun, President of the Republic of Lebanon. During the call, President Aoun expressed Lebanon’s condemnation of the missile attacks targeting the territory of the Kingdom of Bahrain by Iran and affirmed his country’s full solidarity with the Kingdom. He also supported the measures and actions taken by Bahrain to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and national achievements.
According to Bahrain News Agency, President Aoun strongly denounced the involvement of a terrorist cell affiliated with the Lebanese Hezbollah organization in plots aimed at undermining Bahrain’s security and stability. He reiterated Lebanon’s support for Bahrain in all measures undertaken to protect its security and preserve its stability.
His Majesty the King expressed his appreciation for the position of the Lebanese Republic and the sentiments of solidarity conveyed by President Aoun, as well as his support for the Kingdom of Bahrain. The call highlighted the mutual support between the two nations in addressing security challenges and maintaining regional stability.
