UAE President Discusses Regional Security with US President


Abu dhabi: His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, held a telephone call with Donald Trump, President of the United States of America, during which they reviewed regional developments and their implications for regional and international peace and security, as well as their impact on maritime security and the global economy. Both sides also exchanged views on these issues.



According to Bahrain News Agency, the call also addressed the continued Iranian terrorist attacks against the UAE and several countries in the region, targeting civilians, facilities and civilian infrastructure. The attacks were described as a violation of national sovereignty and international law, and a direct threat to regional security and stability.
