Shura Council Launches Youth Digital Innovation Competition in Bahrain

Manama: Karima Mohammed Al Abbasi, Secretary General of the Shura Council, announced the launch of the Shura Council digital innovation in parliamentary work competition for youth, in cooperation with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Bahrain Polytechnic, coinciding with Bahraini Youth Day. The initiative supports the royal vision of investing in youth and encouraging innovation in science and modern technologies to promote sustainable development.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Abbasi highlighted that the competition, launched with the support of Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, seeks to empower Bahraini youth by fostering their active engagement in the Kingdom's development process. Participants are invited to submit innovative digital projects or technical studies to support digital transformation in parliamentary work.

Running from March 25 to June 30, the competition will include several evaluation stages, with prizes and financial rewards for winning entries. Al Abbasi called on Bahraini youth to seize this opportunity to contribute creative digital solutions that enhance institutional performance.
