Shura Council Chairman Commends Royal Support at Conclusion of Sixth Legislative Term

Manama: Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, expressed his appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for the continued support and guidance, which he noted has been instrumental in enabling the Council to carry out its constitutional and legislative responsibilities effectively, as the Council concluded the third session of the sixth legislative term.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Saleh also commended the continuous support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for fostering effective cooperation between the legislative and executive authorities, which contributed to the Council's legislative and developmental achievements during the session.

Al Saleh noted the Council's progress in passing key laws, reviewing legislative proposals, and expanding cooperation with state institutions and society. He commended the Council's role in parliamentary diplomacy and participation in regional and international forums.

He also highlighted the efforts of Council members, parliamentary committees, and the General Secretariat for their contributions throughout the session, and expressed appreciation to ministers, government officials, and the media for their support in facilitating the Council's work.
