Shura Chairman Lauds HM King’s Visit to UK.

Manama: Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, underscored the significance of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s recent visit to the United Kingdom. He said that the visit reflects the profound friendship spanning over 200 years between Bahrain and the UK. Al Saleh commended the shared achievements and the commitment of both nations’ leaders to enhance cooperation.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Saleh noted that the visit strengthens strategic partnerships and advances collaborative efforts in essential sectors, including education, healthcare, investment, trade, security, and defence. He highlighted that Bahrain-UK relations have progressed significantly, with a fruitful exchange of expertise and experiences that has been beneficial for both countries and their citizens.

The Chairman said that the visit comes at a pivotal time, as Bahrain’s efforts in promoting security, peace, and the values of tolerance and coexistence gain recognition globally. He also emphasised that Bah
rain’s diplomatic approach, inspired by His Majesty’s vision, builds meaningful connections that support shared development goals.

Al Saleh noted that Bahrain and the UK will continue to serve as a model of open, strategic partnership, founded on mutual respect and dedicated to shared growth and prosperity.
