Manama: Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), 'The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East', is gearing up for a weekend filled with engaging events, featuring fan experiences and a leading racing championship in the Kingdom. According to Bahrain News Agency, the weekend kicks off on Friday, May 1, with the latest edition of Batelco Fitness on Track. On Saturday, May 2, Open Track Night will elevate the thrill alongside the eighth and final round of the 2025/2026 Bahrain Rotax MAX Challenge (BRMC), the Kingdom's premier karting championship. Batelco Fitness on Track is set to begin early on Friday, from 6 am to 10 am. Participants can engage in physical activities on foot or bicycle, either individually or with groups, within the secure environment of a world-class Formula 1 venue. The event offers a 2.55-kilometre Inner Circuit for runners and walkers, while cyclists can enjoy a 3.543-kilometre Outer Circuit. Children have their own dedicated area. The participation fee is BD1 for runners and BD2 for cyclist s, with free entry for children under 12 when accompanied by a paying adult. On Saturday evening, Open Track Night offers participants the chance to drive their own cars or motorbikes on BIC's Inner Circuit from 6 pm to 10 pm, promoting responsible driving in a controlled setting. The schedule includes an Open Pit Lane for cars from 6 pm to 7:30 pm, followed by sessions for members and bikes until 10:30 pm. Fees vary depending on booking times and session types, with instructor sessions and additional driver or passenger options available. Saturday also marks the conclusion of the BRMC season, with Bahrain's top karters competing under lights from 3:30 pm to 9:30 pm at BIC's Bahrain International Karting Circuit. They will race for championship points across five categories on the 1.414-kilometre CIK-FIA track. Fans are invited to attend and support the racers, with free entrance to BIKC.
