Manama: Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, emphasised that the outcomes of the 45th GCC Summit reflect a unified vision to strengthen the Gulf's global and regional influence while sustaining development across member states. He praised the steadfast leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in advancing Gulf cooperation and fostering integration, rooted in a shared history and strong bonds among GCC nations. According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Saleh expressed pride in Bahrain's representation at the 'Kuwait Summit,' led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on behalf of His Majesty the King. He commended HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister's commitment to enhancing collaboration and advancing integration across all sectors, building on the GCC's legacy of unity and progress spanning over four decades. Al Saleh noted that the GCC continues to strengthen its foundations, delivering achievements in key sectors and pursuing initiatives that align with the aspirations of Gulf citizens. He highlighted the pivotal role of the GCC in promoting peace and fostering partnerships on the global stage. The chairman also lauded the 'Kuwait Declaration,' which affirmed solidarity on critical regional and global issues. He highlighted its firm stance on the Palestinian cause, calling for an end to violence in Gaza, protection of civilians, and support for sustainable solutions that ensure Palestinian sovereignty, aligned with international resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative. He further noted the declaration's support for Lebanon, calls for Israel's withdrawal from occupied Lebanese territories, and backing of efforts by Saudi Arabia and Oman to restore the political process in Yemen. Al Saleh commended the declaration's focus on empowering youth, advancing women's roles, and promoting economic diversification through strategic investments in technology and the digital economy. He underscored that GCC states are well-positio ned to sustain growth and innovation, thanks to the vision and unity of their leaders.
