Manama: Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, affirmed that education in the Kingdom of Bahrain continues to benefit from the constant support and royal patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He expressed pride in His Majesty's vision and guidance towards further progress in the education sector, which strengthens national achievements and supports sustainable development.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Saleh praised the royal address by His Majesty on the occasion of the start of the new academic year (2025 - 2026), noting that it reflected His Majesty's aspirations for a successful year full of educational accomplishments. He said the address highlights appreciation for the efforts made to advance education and motivates students and teachers to work with dedication and strive for excellence.
He added that it reflects Bahrain's determination to continue developing education, making full use of modern tools and technologies to support the learning process in line with sustainable development goals.
The chairman also commended the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for its initiatives and programmes that improve educational outcomes and prepare students to meet the highest standards. He underlined the consistency of these efforts with advanced curricula, Islamic values, and Bahrain's national principles.
Al Saleh further praised the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and his commitment to providing resources in support of education. He also valued the efforts of Team Bahrain, under His Royal Highness's leadership, in achieving further progress and success in the sector.
On this occasion, the chairman congratulated administrative and teaching staff, as well as students across all schools and educational institutions, on the start of the new academic year, wishing them success and continued achievement.
