Riffa: Shaikh Dr. Rashid bin Mohammed Al Hajeri highlighted the role of personnel stationed at borders and security frontlines in protecting countries and safeguarding the stability of societies amid the challenges and attacks witnessed in the region.
According to Bahrain News Agency, during the Friday sermon at the Shaikh Isa Mosque in Riffa, Shaikh Rashid bin Mohammed emphasized that one of the most important foundations of security in any society is those who dedicate themselves to protecting their nation and safeguarding its security.
Shaikh Dr. Al Hajeri noted that safeguarding the nation is not limited to military duties alone, highlighting that individuals serving in both military and civilian institutions contribute to protecting national security in different areas, including political, social, media, cyber, community, and policing.
He also referenced a Hadith by the Prophet Mohammed, which praises those who remain steadfast in protecting their communities. He stressed that religious texts emphasize the value of remaining committed to the posts entrusted to them and carrying out their duties with sincerity and discipline in safeguarding society.
Furthermore, Shaikh Dr. Al Hajeri mentioned that Islamic teachings underscore the importance of vigilance in protecting communities. He remarked that safeguarding the nation is regarded as an honorable duty, reflecting integrity and discipline, which contributes to maintaining security and stability in society.
Concluding the sermon, Shaikh Dr. Al Hajeri extended his wishes for abundant health to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He also prayed for the safety of the personnel protecting the Kingdom of Bahrain and maintaining its security and stability.
